I hope you enjoy the changes. Instead of blogging my book The Healing Power of Holism, I thought it would be best to create shorter blog posts that are more concise and informative….

Here you’ll find effective, drug-free solutions to your health concerns that you’re not going to find anywhere else. Rather than one size fits all diets, and a pill for every ill, we’re going to be talking about whole person health in body, mind, and spirit.

Sure we’re going to talk about things such as: nutrition, exercise, detoxification and sleep. But, we’ll also be talking about topics such as: inner dialog, or self-talk, limiting belief systems, self-love, marriage and relationships, parenting, goal setting, meaning, and life purpose. We’ll also be talking about things like: joy, contentment, personal growth, calling, spiritual warfare, holiness and sanctification. Our health depends on all these things.

True Holism

Often, when people begin their natural health journey, they end up with a cabinet full of supplements, or on some type of fad diet, usually a combination of both. I know because 20 years ago, I was one of those people. Today, I am no longer enslaved to that model.

My journey took me from natural health novice to Naturopathic Doctor with a practice. However, my focus was almost entirely on the body, or the physical.

I’ve since learned that focusing almost exclusively on the physical, can only take people so far. In fact, it may not help at all if that person’s health challenges are rooted in faulty thinking (the mind or soul) or their spirit.

Not that I am the guru that’s arrived and knows it all, far from it. I’m on this journey with you. Perhaps a little further along than most, but I’m learning new things all the time, and I want to share those things with you here. You can read more about my journey on the about page.

Armed with the information I’m going to share here, you can dramatically accelerate your learning curve. You can also save a lot of time and money along the way by avoiding the trial and error approach.

Many people have expressed to me their concerns about the natural health community. Such as, it’s not based in science, restrictive boring diets, or the new age thought that permeates the spiritual discussions. I intend to offer some sanity to that arena with scientific documentation, and biblical references when appropriate.

A Christian Perspective

Here, everything is filtered through a biblical worldview. If any information can’t be reconciled with scripture, it’s suspect. Most people are surprised to discover that the bible has plenty to say about health. Way beyond just good nutrition, God is concerned with the whole person: body, soul and spirit. As a result, so am I.

Whether you’re in great shape, looking to take your health to the next level, or you’re looking for a solution to a major health crisis, you’ve come to the right place.

    • We will never regret doing things God’s way. He loves us enough that if He tells us to do something it’s for our benefit; if He tells us to avoid something it’s for our protection. Once we understand this, The Bible becomes a plethora of valuable information for our health and well-being.
