Debunking Germ Theory

Is Dis-ease Caused from Without or Within?

Western medicine has bought into germ theory, hook, line, and sinker. Germ theory states that germs (bacteria and viruses) cause disease. In other words, sickness is caused from without.

What if sickness and disease are caused from within? What if it’s really a favorable environment within the host (person) that gives the germs a chance to thrive? This could change everything.

Ask any gardner; a thick, healthy lawn is naturally weed resistant. Our bodies behave in a similar fashion. A strong, healthy internal system is naturally resistant to illness.

“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.”

Thomas Edison

From Without

Germ theory can be explained this way: microscopic invaders are everywhere. Once they make their way into our bodies, they attack and multiply making us sick.

It’s not your fault. Your just a victim of these viruses, bacteria, fungi etc. The only way to protect yourself is to not be exposed.

If it were that simple, we would all be defenseless against infection. It’s just not that simple. We all know we are not defenseless. However, we do occasionally get sick. Therefore, there must be something more going on here.

From Within

Why is it that some people get sick and others don’t? I believe the answer to that question can be explained in terms of the condition of the host (person). If germ theory adequately explained illness, then everyone that works in public places, or visits a mall would be getting sick all the time.

There is more going on than just being exposed to germs. I fly airplanes for a living. Every time I walk through an airport, I’m bombarded with germs. Yet, I rarely succumb to illness. Why is this so? Because I pay attention to my internal environment.

Microscopic organisms are opportunistic. This means that they take advantage of, and thrive, when conditions are favorable for them. Take away the conditions they like, and they’re nowhere to be found.

Germs don’t cause disease any more than flies cause garbage. The flies are there for the free meal. Mold doesn’t form on dry, well-lit surfaces. But, if we keep things wet and dark, then mold is sure to follow.

A Pill for Every ill?

Of course, germ theory sits very well with the pharmaceutical industry. Just pop a pill to kill the microbes, and we’re done right? Well, antibiotics only kill bacteria. They have no effect on viruses, fungi, or countless other microbes.

Besides, the real challenges facing our society today are not infectious diseases. They’re chronic conditions like: cancer, heart disease, ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue etc. Need I go on?

The Real Cause for Dis-ease

Germ theory does not adequately explain dis-ease. The internal environment of the person, or host is far more important than avoiding exposure to germs. For the most part, dis-ease is caused from within. In my experience, I can suggest at least six ways we can get sick:

  1. Nutritional deficiencies
  2. Toxic build-up
  3. Energetic disturbances
  4. Stress, both physical and emotional
  5. Toxic beliefs or “stinking thinking”
  6. Spiritual unrest

Each of these could be a stand alone book. Rest assured, we’ll be talking more about these in future blog posts.

Our bodies know how to be healthy. If we focus on keeping our bodies, and minds free from the 6 things listed above, we can dramatically increase our chances of staying healthy and fit, and aging gracefully.

  1. I am a physician and I agree with you –even Mr. Pasteur on his deathbed alluded to it and that his theory was wrong and yet follow the money crooks keep the old theory alive and the masses are thee asses!
