4 Reason To Avoid The Flu Shot

Cold and flu season is upon us. The pharmaceutical industry with their team of doctors, nurses and sales reps, is recommending that nearly everyone get a flu vaccine.

I will not be getting a flu vaccine any time soon. This is due to the fact that there are many drawbacks. Vaccines are pharmaceutical drugs. Like all drugs, they come with risks and side effects.

As adults, we should make informed decisions. We should have enough information to make our own risk/benefit analysis. Sadly, most of us only hear one side of the story from our family healthcare practitioners.

The Most Important Ingredient For Health

Peace is perhaps the most important ingredient for health. Not just peaceful thoughts, but peace in every part of our being.

C.S. Lewis said: “We are a spirit; we have a soul; and we live in a body.” We’re created as tripartite beings. All three aspects of our being are interconnected, and interdependent.

Genes are not destiny. From where I sit, this type of thinking is a cop-out. It removes personal responsibility from the equation.Continue reading

Metal, or Amalgam fillings are commonly referred to as “silver” fillings. What your dentist may not be telling you is that metal, or amalgam fillings are made of 50% mercury. Silver only makes up about 25%.

Mercury is released from these fillings constantly. Some may argue that this amount of mercury is of no consequence to our health. This is not true.

Mercury is one of the most toxic substances on the planet, and, serves no useful purpose in human physiology. In other words, there is no safe level of mercury in our bodies.

When absorbed by our bodies, mercury penetrates our cell membranes, easily passes the blood-brain barrier, intoxicating our brains, and nervous systems.
